Vartest is accredited by the CPSIA as an independent Third Party Laboratory and meet all the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission for Fiber identification, care labeling etc. The lab performs in-house the entire protocol of tests for high visibility protective clothing listed in the American National Standard ANSI-107 & 207 documents and the European, Canadian and Australian equivalents . A wide range of children's products such as toys, apparel, and jewelry are tested for conformity to the improvement act.

Vartest is entirely independent, nationally and internationally accredited organization having no commercial connections with manufacturers, processors, converters, distributors or traders. Vartest performs high caliber tests, evaluations and services with complete objectivity, impartiality and confidentiality.

Nine laboratory sections cover the wide range of ASTM and AATCC test methods and industry standards including fiber identification and content, physical and chemical testing, colormetrics, biometrics, photometrics and flammability. Routine maintenance and scheduled calibration of instruments and equipment along with continual employee training ensures consistently accurate test results.

Their well-trained, qualified and experienced staff of technologists and technicians apply consistent attention to and follow-up on client's day-to-day requirements plus long-term continuity and assessments of product quality and potential problem areas. Test procedures applied are those established by AATCC, ASTM, ANSI, IMO, The Federal Standard 191 ISO, BSI, JIS, DIN and other industry recognized commercial methods.
